Starlings UPDATE... Watsonville Starlings just had our 1st 12 and under STARkids Volleyball camp. We had a GREAT group of young ladies turn into a group of strong and more confident athletes in just five days. Check out the pictures posted HERE to see how much fun we had!!! | In 1999, there were 32 graduating high school seniors in Starlings programs. Of those 32 girls, 31 enrolled in college, and nine girls received partial or full volleyball scholarships. Beginning in 1996, over 150 volleyball scholarships have been awarded from universities including: Kansas State, Clark-Atlanta University, Virginia State University, Long Island University, Coppin State University, Morgan State University, Howard University, Jackson State, Florida A&M, Grambling State University, and Hampton University. |

| Watsonville Starling Volleyball is a college prep athletic program that offers the sport of volleyball at the club level to girls for a cost that does not become exclusionary for families. While junior club volleyball dues are often expensive, Starlings club dues are dramatically minimized to offer the opportunity to athletes from ALL communities. For the 2010-2011 season, dues for the 12's & 14's will be $475.00 and for the 16's & 18's team, the fee will be $575.00. Practices will start in November for the 2010 program. Check out the Starlings Schedule in October for more specific times and locations. |
